AQUARELA a Tribeca Film Institute Fund Grantee

14 Jan 2014

It gives us great pleasure to start early this year with great news:

Our project AQUARELA is one of this year’s Tribeca Film Institute Fund grantees. They had 500 submissions from 70 countries and AQUARELA is one of the 11 projects that will receive a share of $175,000 to further develop our feature films.

We feel honoured to have been selected.

AQUARELA is directed by renowned filmmaker Victor Kossakovsky and it’s a co-production with Louverture Films (US); Ma.Ja.De. and The Scottish Documentary Institute.

In AQUARELA Kossakovsky takes us on a journey filming from a floating iceberg, from the moment it breaks off from the polar ice sheet to its final meltdown, revealing both the comedy and tragedy, the pathos and beauty of our complex relationship with water.

More exciting developments lie ahead so please keep an eye on this space for future information.

This project is being developed thanks to the support in Scotland of Creative Scotland.
