We are thrilled to announce that our Director Marie Liden has been awarded US based Chicken & Egg Accelerator Lab grant and the UK’s Guiding Lights: Feature Focus mentorship scheme! This is to continue and complete her fantastic work on her film Electric Malady

Chicken & Egg’s Accelerator Lab is designed to support first- and second-time nonfiction female filmmakers, the program offers each finalist a $35,000 grant as well as year-long creative and professional mentorship. This year’s cohort hails from eight different countries.

With Guiding Lights, Marie will be mentored by Directors Peter Middleton and James Spinney who work across a range of fiction, documentary and cross-platform projects including their feature documentary, Notes on Blindness, which premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for three BAFTAs in 2017.

These are huge achievements for Marie Liden and mean great strides for our Electric Malady production.
